GIC Program Will Convene Leaders in the Energy Sector on November 5

PHILADELPHIA –

What: Energy Interdependence in the Western Hemisphere

This program will explore three overarching themes: physical and financial infrastructures of the “midstream,” new energy pricing and trade patterns and the vital ways in which Greater Philadelphia can contribute to energy interdependence in the Western Hemisphere.

Panels will dive deeply into a range of sub-topics, including: the U.S. East Coast energy hub; supply chains and modes of transportation; the impacts of public policy and regulatory environments on efficient redistribution and trade; financial impacts of new energy pricing and trade patterns; regional, national, and global implications of energy interdependence; and new energy opportunities, uses and risks.

Senior leaders from the energy sector, various governments and trade organizations in the U.S., Mexico and Canada are slated to participate and set out their short and long term agendas. The full program agenda can be found at http://bit.ly/phl115.
