Professor Mohamed Daoud, is a Fulbright fellow and professor of applied linguistics from the Institut’ Sp’erieur de Langues de Tunis (ISLT), Tunisia and currently at Portland State University.  He is a close follower of the (post-) revolution in Tunisia.  His research interest include reading problems of nonnative speakers of English in academic disciplines and publishes widely on this subject.
