The Global Interdependence Center Names Ben Craig Executive Director

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA – The Global Interdependence Center (GIC) is pleased to announce it has named Ben Craig as executive director. In this role, Craig will lead the continued growth of GIC, according to the strategic direction set forth by the Board of Directors.

“GIC is launching several initiatives in the coming year, including the Global Society of Fellows,” stated William Dunkelberg, chair of GIC. “We are excited to welcome Ben and utilize his extensive experience in finance and corporate development to enhance GIC’s programming and further the reach of the organization.”

Prior to joining GIC, Craig was a principal at Swap-Ex, a startup commodity swaps trading platform. Prior to Swap-Ex, he served as the president of the NASDAQ OMX Futures Exchange (NFX), as well as vice president of strategy and US futures, NASDAQ OMX.

Craig holds an MGA from the University of Pennsylvania. He received a full fellowship and earned an MA in American history from Tulane University. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Birmingham-Southern College. He is also an active supporter of the Schoerke Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting progressive schools in the Central Region of Ghana.
