Delegation of U.S. Economists and Local Leaders to Industry Economic Outlook in Mexico City

MEXICO CITY, MEXICO-

WHAT:
The Global Interdependence Center has prepared a three-day delegation in Mexico City, Mexico and U.S. – An Outlook on Neighboring Nations. On Thursday, October 5, GIC will be holding a half-day morning conference in partnership with the Banco de México for all delegates and any interested media personnel. Topics at this afternoon conference will include Trade and Structural Reform and other industry issues. During the rest of GIC’s visit, delegates will engage in private meetings with the Bank of Mexico, the Mexican Stock Exchange and the largest pension fund manager in Latin America. They will also participate in briefings on the political and trade landscape as it relates to NAFTA, Mexico and the Pacific Alliance.
