On May 6, 2019, the Global Interdependence Center hosted its Annual Monetary & Trade (AMT) Conference in partnership with the LeBow College of Business at Drexel University. The conference explored global trade imbalance issues and offered a forum for discussion of the current status of trade relations among the most significant world trade partners, including the US, China, and the European Union.

GIC’s mission is to facilitate an international dialogue on economics.

The Global Interdependence Center, Cumberland Advisors, and the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee gathered for a conference on adaptive climate change on Friday, January 25, 2019. This day-long conference included discussions about the implications of climate warming for Florida and the effects of climate change on red tide.
