Stephane Deo

Stephane Deo is the global head of asset allocation and head of the macro strategy team at UBS. Prior to that, he was the UBS chief economist for Europe. Stephane joined the UBS eurozone economics team in 2001 as an economist and was responsible for the coverage of France, Italy and the Benelux. Before joining the bank, Stephane spent four years with Goldman Sachs, two years in Paris as a French economist and two years in London covering the eurozone economy. He has also worked with the OECD. Stephane holds a Ph.D. in finance, a DEA in economics and a diploma from the HEC School of Business. His education was completed with a post-doctorate year at the Haas School for Business (UC Berkeley).
