Yuriy Gorodnichenko, Ph.D.

Yuriy Gorodnichenko is an assistant professor at the department of economics, University of California – Berkeley. He received his B.A. and M.A. at the EERC/Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Kyiv, Ukraine) and his Ph.D. at the University of Michigan. He is broadly interested in macroeconomics and issues related to transition economies, especially labor markets and firm performance. Yuriy published his work in leading economics journals such as American Economic Review and Journal of Political Economy.
