Werner Hahn

Co-Founder, Knight's Hammer LLC

Werner Hahn is the co-founder of Knight’s Hammer LLC, a startup software development company dedicated to creating actionable data for corporate clients and innovative tools to improve customer interaction. Previously, as a JD and senior analyst with the Legal Practice of Corporate Executive Board, Mr. Hahn worked directly with general counsel for CEB’s client base, which comprises 87 percent of the Fortune 500 and 94 percent of the Fortune 100. In this role, he examined international government regulations and compliance issues and best practices, helping clients mitigate enterprise risk and improve departmental effectiveness.

Mr. Hahn is a founding member of the Financial Risk Institute (FinRisk) in Washington D.C. serving as chair of the Young Professionals Committee and on FinRisk’s Editorial Board. At the Congressional Research Services (CRS), American Law Division, Mr. Hahn worked daily with Congressional offices providing verbal briefings and reports to technical and non-technical personnel on a wide range of legal issues including environmental, trade, criminal, administrative, and immigration law. He also worked with CRS senior legislative attorneys on in-depth analysis of Trade Advisory Committee composition in the Office of the United States Trade Representative, and crafted 50 State Law comparisons of differing pending legislation. Mr. Hahn is a graduate from The George Washington University School of Law where he served on the Federal Circuit Bar Journal and was a finalist at the Presidential Management Fellowship program. Mr. Hahn also holds a double major degree in economics and government from the University of Texas at Austin.
