Pilar L’Hotellerie-Fallois

Associate Director General of International Affairs, Banco de España

Pilar L’Hotellerie-Fallois is currently the Associate Director General of International Affairs of the Banco de España, a responsibility she assumed in 2006. Previously, she pursued her career as an economist in the Economic Analysis and Forecasting Department of this institution, where she was Director of from 2004 to 2006, after heading the Forecasting and Conjunctural Analysis Division from 1998 to 2004. She was member of the Economic Policy Committee of the European Union and of the Monetary Policy Committee of the ECB and presently is member of the International Relations Committee of this institution. From 1980 and 1983 she was assistant Professor of Economics at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and in the Universidad San Pablo-CEU. She is Graduate in Economics by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Master in Public Administration by the Kennedy School of Government of Harvard University. She has collaborated in different economic journals and in publications of the Banco de España.
