Frank Linnehan, Ph.D.

Frank Linnehan, Ph.D. is the dean at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business, where he also is a professor of management. Dr. Linnehan received his Ph.D. in human resources administration from Temple University and has taught both graduate and undergraduate courses in leadership, organizational behavior, human resources, compensation and management.  Prior to receiving his Ph.D., Dr. Linnehan worked for 17 years in both line and human resource management in the financial services industry.

Dr. Linnehan’s research interests include school-to-work transitions for high school and college students, adult-youth mentoring, affirmative action, equal employment, and workforce diversity initiatives.  His research has been published in the Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Group and Organization Management, Applied Psychology: An International Journal, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, Journal of Management Inquiry, Social Psychology of Education and Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis.  He is a member of the board of directors of the Philadelphia Academies Inc., where he sits on the executive and finance committees.
