Carmen Krueger

Regional Vice President of the Global Public Services Integrated Business Unit, SAP

Carmen Krueger is currently the regional vice president of the Global Public Services Integrated Business Unit. She is responsible for SAP’s global cloud strategy and business development in the public services, higher education and healthcare industries.

Prior to this position, Carmen served as vice president of sales, leading the U.S. Federal Sales team across the federal government, aerospace, and defense markets.

Since joining SAP, Carmen has had a unique career, holding both sales and strategy positions. She started in 2005 as an industry principal developing the overall industry strategy and solution direction for the Federal government market. Next, she led a team of solution principals focused on the rollout of new solutions and products. In 2008, Carmen moved into a direct sales role, assuming the position of account executive for strategic customers in aerospace and defense and state and local government.

Carmen began her software career at Siebel Systems and worked in a variety of positions to include identifying investment targets for the Venture Group, sales operations for the head of global sales and also product marketing for the Public Sector team.

While in law school, Carmen joined the United States Navy JAG Corps. She was first assigned as trial counsel representing the government in court-martials and administrative proceedings. She also served as the principal legal advisor to the Navy’s Basic Training Center while managing the RTC legal office.

Carmen holds a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law and a B.S. in political science from Arizona State University. She is admitted to practice in the State of Arizona.
