Therese Turner-Jones

Therese Turner-Jones has spent her career in international financial organizations advising governments on macroeconomic and development challenges. She has experience in the regional development of Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to joining the Caribbean Development Bank in 2023, Therese has gained extensive experience managing a diverse department of development specialists and economists at the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington DC and the Caribbean.

Therese remains interested in development and sustainability issues generally and specifically how climate change, long term sustainability and growth will impact citizens around the world. Her skills include macroeconomics, diversity, inclusion and gender expertise in institutions and their impact on human, social and economic development. Therese is a Bahamian national and is married with three daughters.
