Serge Shikher

Serge Shikher is International Economist in the Research Division of the U.S. International Trade Commission. His research interests are primarily in the fields of international trade, labor, international production, innovation, and macroeconomics. His recent papers investigate the determinants of trade and specialization, describe a new model of international production, and evaluate the accuracy of forecasted effects of trade agreements. His papers have been published in the Journal of International Economics, Economic Inquiry, Journal of International Trade and Economic Development, and other journals. Prior to joining the USITC, Serge Shikher was Assistant Professor of Economics at Suffolk University in Boston. Serge Shikher received a B.S. in Economics from Purdue University and a Ph.D. in Economics from Boston University.
