Rochelle (“Chellie”) L. Cameron

Rochelle (“Chellie”) L. Cameron is the Chief Executive Officer of the Philadelphia International Airport and the Northeast Philadelphia Airport, a large hub airport system serving over 31.4 million passengers annually. She oversees the planning, development and administration of all activities for the City’s Division of Aviation – which through a $469 million and $765 million operating and capital budgets, respectively, generates more than $14.4 billion in annual spending to the regional economy and accounts for more than 141,000 jobs within the region. Cameron has made enhancing customer service, improving current airport facilities and expanding the airport her top priorities.

She came to Philadelphia in 2011 as Deputy Director of Aviation, Finance and Administration; in 2014, she was named Chief Operating Officer, responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations. Previously, she spent 13 years with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA), which is responsible for operating and maintaining Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Washington Dulles International Airport, the Dulles Toll Road, and the Washington, D.C., Metrorail System. She also served for seven years as an active duty officer in the United States Air Force and one year as an Air Force civilian employee; she completed her service in 1998 as an active duty Captain.

Cameron holds a B.A. degree in political science from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA in business administration with a concentration in finance from Auburn University at Montgomery. She is a certified public accountant in the Commonwealths of Pennsylvania and Virginia.
