Mike Dolan

A veteran political organizer and former labor lawyer, Mike Dolan is currently the trade policy specialist and lobbyist for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.  He is a “cleared advisor” to the United States Trade Representative on both the Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations and the Labor Advisory Committee, serving as the liaison to Teamsters President James Hoffa.

Mike is perhaps best known as the lead coordinator of the 1999 Seattle WTO demonstrations.  Until 2003, Mike was Deputy Director of the Global Trade Watch team at Public Citizen and Field Director of the Citizens Trade Campaign, a national coalition of labor, environmental, consumer and farm groups. He has also served as the Executive Director of the Rolling Thunder Down-Home Democracy Tour, Field Director for the California Democratic Party, the first National Field Director for Rock The Vote and campaign manager for several electoral and issue campaigns around the country.
