Marilu Hastings

Marilu Hastings is the founder of Meridian House, a strategic advisory platform focused on infrastructure governance, regional development, and institutional strategy. For more than three decades, she has worked at the intersection of energy, water, sustainability science, philanthropy, and large-scale infrastructure systems, with a focus on governance, stakeholder legitimacy, and long-term regional resilience.

Previously, she served for eighteen years as Executive Vice President of the Cynthia and George Mitchell Foundation and founded the Permian Energy Development Lab (PEDL), a cross-sector initiative focused on integrated energy, water, workforce, and regional systems innovation in the Permian Basin. She currently serves on the National Petroleum Council and chairs the University of Texas Energy Institute Advisory Board.
