Klaus Adam
Klaus Adam is Nuffield Professor of Economics at the University of Oxford and a Professorial Fellow at Nuffield College. His research focuses on monetary and fiscal policymaking with a focus on macro-financial linkages and belief-driven economic fluctuations.
Klaus Adam is also Research Professor at the Deutsche Bundesbank, a member of the Academic Advisory Council of the German Ministry of Finance, Chairperson of the Monetary Theory and Policy Committee of the German Economic Association (VfS), and Research Fellow at the Center of Economic Policy Research (CEPR) in London. As Scientific Chair of the Euro Area Business Cycle Network (EABCN) he runs the academic activities of the network, which also sets the dates of the European Business Cycle. Klaus Adam is Associate Editor for the Journal of Monetary Economics and a member of the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences (HAdW).
