Jorge Fenyvesi

Jorge Fenyvesi holds a degree on Agricultural Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, with an MS degree in Parasitology and an MBA degree from Babson College, Boston.

He has 44 years of experience in managerial and directive jobs  with The Dow Chemical Company, DNA Plant Technology and Savia and PLENUS Groups.

With Dow he served in several international assignments: in Miami as head of the Commercial and R&D functions for Latin America responsible for the Ag Chemical business, in  Argentina  as head of the R&D Group, and his last assignment in his Dow business career  as President of Dow Elanco Company in Sao Paulo  Brazil. He was also Director General of Dow Mexico Ag division and member of the Global Research and Development Team of Dow Elanco.

He was CoPresident of DNA Plant Technology based in Berkeley, Ca., a leading biotech company developing molecular biology state of the art technologies and products in Ag biotech.

He is actually Director General of AGROMOD, a worldwide leader in the production and commercialization of Maradol Papayas in Mexico, USA, and Canada.

Jorge Fenyvesi has been member of the Mexican PMA Council,  President  of the Mexican AgChemicals Association and member of the Board of AgroBio Mexico.

From March 2014, CEO of Agracast, global leader company in breeding of castor and related Agrotechnlogies.

As of December 31, 2016, he was appointed CEO of NSIP (Nature Source Improved Plants), leading company that applies the most advanced breeding and propagation technology to achieve high potential for genetic improvement.

NSIP is also global leader in tissue culture technologies in banana, coffee and other crops that are sold in Europe, USA and Latin America.
