Jessie C. Jarvis, Ph.D.

Dr. Jarvis earned her Ph.D.  at the College of William & Mary and the Virginia Institute of Marine Science. She is a visiting assistant professor of marine science ecology, studying  estuarine and coastal shallow water environments vegetated with submersed aquatic vegetation (SAV); relationships between SAV systems and environmental factors which limit their growth, reproduction, survival and restoration.
