Garrett Toay

Garrett Toay has been involved as a commercial grain broker since 2001 after graduating from Iowa State University with a degree in agricultural business. He has been owner/operator of a commercial grain introducing brokerage since March of 2004 after spending his first three years working for FC Stone. With clients ranging from large farming operations to commercial grain elevators and South American producers, Garrett has been a contributor to the Iowa Farmer Today’s Marketwatch Online as well as provided content for Barchart, Bloomberg and the San Francisco Chronicle. Garrett also is the principal of AgTraderTalk, an email-based, cash market intensive research and CTA. AgTraderTalk has clients on five continents and consults and provides market research and commentary to hedge funds, individual traders and large multinational grain companies with a focus on cash and spread relationships.
