Faman Touré
Mr. Faman Touré holds a Graduate Diploma in Insurance Studies from the International Institute of Insurance (IIA) from Yaoundé to Cameroon. He is an agronomist and professional mediator, graduated from the School of Mediation and Negotiation of Bordeaux.
A seasoned entrepreneur with a keen sense of business, he is to date Administrator and Counselor of the African Insurance Company of Côte d’Ivoire (2ACI); Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mutuelle des Taxis Comptoirs d’Abidjan (MATCA).
Beyond these institutional functions, he has maintained a strong taste for sharing knowledge, providing intermediate functions as a teacher in the engineering cycle HEA and DUT at the Polytechnic Institute of Yamoussoukro where he teaches courses on various risks. and Risk Management.
In this context, Faman TOURE has participated in numerous high-level international seminars in the areas of Insurance, Rural Development, Creation and Management of SMEs, Practice Management, Negotiation and Conflict Management.
His commitment to the economy and the common interest resulted in his election in 2002 to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Côte d’Ivoire. He is Vice-President in charge of relations with the financial authorities. In 2012, he is appointed Senior Vice President.
The experience gained during this consular career earned him the trust and respect of private sector players and he therefore confidently presented himself to the election of this Consular Chamber in 2016. An election he won more than 90% of the votes cast.
Since July 2016, Mr. Touré has been chairing ICC-CI. In the same vein on January 11, 2018, he was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Maison d’Afrique, headquartered in France in Paris.
A network man, he also holds important positions in regional organizations. He is thus Vice-President FEWACCI (Federation of Chambers of Commerce of ECOWAS), Vice-President of the Office of the Regional Chamber of Commerce of UEMOA, President of the Board of Directors of the House of Africa, Administrator BNI and AERIA.
Mr. TOURE Faman was also made Officer of the National Order in August 2017 as part of the awards of excellence awarded by the President of the Republic, for his contribution to the dynamism of life.
