GIC Brings Together Distinguished Finance Leaders for Teton Economic Outlook Conference

(PHILADELPHIA / JACKSON HOLE, WYO.) JUNE 23, 2026 – The Global Interdependence Center (GIC) will host its Teton Economic Outlook Conference July 8, 2026, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, fostering a focused discussion on today’s economic landscape, financial markets, and monetary policy.

The conference takes place at Trailborn Jackson Hole’s Grand Teton Room at 400 East Snow King Ave., Jackson, WY 83001.

“This year’s agenda examines several issues shaping the current economic environment, including supply shocks, tariffs and war, immigration, AI-driven disruption, and capital markets,” said GIC Executive Director Jillian Fornito. “The program is designed to encourage substantive dialogue and the exchange of perspectives among economists, financial professionals, and market participants.”

A highlight of the Teton Economic Outlook is the highly-anticipated keynote by Lael Brainard, Ph.D., Former Vice Chair, Federal Reserve Board of Governors, on “Supply Shocks: Macro Cost of Policies,” examining how policy choices can amplify or reduce the macroeconomic costs of supply shocks, including their effects on inflation, growth, labor markets, and economic resilience. Michael McKee, Bloomberg TV, will moderate.

The day also covers the forces shaping the economic landscape, financial markets, and monetary policy, including tariffs, immigration, artificial intelligence, labor market shifts, capital market implications, Fed independence, debt pressures, and the evolving risks and opportunities facing households, businesses, and investors. The program includes a local perspective on Jackson, Wyo., and ends with a broader discussion of interdependence in a changing economic order.
