90 Minute Walking Tour: PARIS AT THE BELLE EPOQUE

In 1900, Paris was playing host to the World’s Fair. Because of the importance of the event, the city undertook a number of building projects which included the construction of the Pont Alexandre III , the Espalande des Invalides displays, the Grand Palais and the smaller but similar Petit Palais. The district became one of Paris’ most recognizable landmarks  : The whole district is a reminder of the ancient slenderness and charm of the 1900 World Fair. Its aim was to celebrate the beginning of the new century and to show the progress. It exhibited the technological progress of the century, but also the French industrial and cultural power.

GIC will collect $20 from each guest to cover the guide fees.
