Agnès Bénassy-Quéré
Agnès Bénassy-Quéré is currently the Director of CEPII, having been a Scientific Advisor of the Centre until 2003 and Deputy-Director from 2004 to 2006. She is a Professor at University of Paris Ouest-Nanterre and a Lecturer at Ecole Polytechnique.
She is a member of the French Commission Economique de la Nation, of the Cercle des Economistes annd of the ECB Shadow Council.
After defending her PhD in economics at University Paris IX – Dauphine, Agnès Bénassy-Quéré was appointed at the French Ministry of economy and finance (1991-1992). Then she became a lecturer at the University of Cergy-Pontoise (1992-1996), a professor at the University of Lille 2 (1997-1998), a deputy-director at CEPII (1998-2000) and a professor at the University of Paris X-Nanterre (2001-2004). In 2004, she returned to the CEPII as a deputy-director, before being appointed director in July 2006.
