Cezary Wójcik
Cezary Wójcik is a professor of economics at the Polish Academy of Sciences and Head of Center for International Monetary System at the Warsaw School of Economics.
In the past he served as Director of Bureau for Integration with the Euro Area of the National Bank of Poland, as Member of the Macroeconomic Council to the Minister of Finance, Advisor to the Minister of Finance and Advisor to the Plenipotary for Euro Introduction in Poland. He also worked in the private sector, recently as Chief Economic Advisor to WestLB Bank Poland.
He has been a visiting professor and scholar at Harvard Kennedy School of Government, University of California at Berkeley, European University Institute in Florence, Glasgow University.
He has received both highest awards given to an economist in Poland (the City Bank and the Prime Minster Awards for significant contribution into the field of economics and finance).
His research interests include international finance, monetary integration, exchange rate economics and monetary policy.
