Dr. Balmaseda has impressive credentials, collaborating with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the European Commission, and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Previously, he served as chief economist at BBVA, the multinational banking giant, and currently teaches macroeconomics at the International Graduate School of Management of Barcelona and Madrid.
