He specialized in industrial organization as a visiting scholar at the Center for Industrial Economics in Copenhagen, Denmark, and specialized in financial economics at Central European University in Budapest, Hungary. He has a M.A. in Economics, George Mason University, and pursued doctoral studies at George Mason University.
