One Membership - A World of Opportunities!
The Global Interdependence Center was founded with a mission to encourage the expansion of global dialogue and free trade in order to improve cooperation and understanding among nations; ultimately reducing international conflicts and improving living standards worldwide.
Global Dialogue
Members receive discounted registration to all of our domestic and international programs. These programs provide a neutral forum for business professionals and scholars to identify and discuss emerging economic, social and political issues vital to the interdependent global community. Most programs include networking opportunities with distinguished speakers and peers.
GIC Abroad is particularly tailored to promote face-to-face dialogue with leaders in monetary, political, and social policy throughout the globe. Many sessions are private and closed to the press so that GIC delegates may engage in open conversation. Abroad trips are frequently limited in size and registration is limited. Past conferences have convened in Rome, Santiago, Prague, Paris, Shanghai, Ireland, Zambia, Israel, Estonia and Hanoi.
Round table Sessions have become a hallmark of GIC programming. They provide for intimate conversation and candid exchanges between our delegates and prominent thought leaders. All sessions are conducted under Chatham House Rule and are closed to the public. These sessions have been known to give attendees insight on pressing world issues, not available for public consumption. Past topics have included the BP oil spill, water crises in Africa and global economic instability.
Members Only Events give our members unparalleled access to some of the brightest minds in finance, economics, wealth management, health and welfare. Previous speakers at these events have included presidents of central banks, ambassadors, renowned economists and policy leaders.
