Jillian Fornito joined the Global Interdependence Center in August, 2008. Jillian brings with her five years of experience in event and program management, relationship building, and financial management. Jillian joined the GIC staff after her position as the Director of Treasury for Greater Philadelphia Cares, a non-profit organization focusing on volunteer engagement throughout the region. Prior to her professional transition the non-profit sector, Jillian worked as a Human Resources Administrator at Towers Perrin, managing employee profit sharing and health & welfare plans. A Bucks County native, Jillian graduated from La Salle University with a B.A. in Communication. Her enthusiasm for global affairs began ten years ago with her first trip abroad to Germany. Since then she has studied communication and culture in Austria, Switzerland, France, Ireland, Greece, England and Portugal.
