Erin Hartshorn has served as the Executive Director of the Global Interdependence Center since 2007. Erin is a successful non-profit and entrepreneurial leader having served in international volunteer and service administration, growth and development of non-corporate entities, and small business leadership.
Erin's previous appointments have included Director of Involvement and Development for Greater Philadelphia Cares, a hub for regional volunteerism. At GPC Erin's leadership significantly increased funding streams and improved corporate relations. Prior to moving to Philadelphia, Erin served at Women Entrepreneurs of Baltimore, connecting experienced executives with start up organizations, and as Executive Director of Quest, a international volunteering organization.
Her passion for international relations and academic interest in Peace and Conflict Studies have led Erin to research and groundwork in Mexico, Haiti, the Dominican Republic and Northern Ireland.
