Steve Batzer joined the SOSH Architects (Atlantic City Office) in April of 2005 after a forty year career in the insurance brokerage and business consulting industries.

Steve has had a particular focus on the gaming industry, in addition to his general business practice.  Over the years, he has spoken on many issues relating to gaming and has been quite active in industry affairs.  In 1988, Steve was named by then governor Thomas Kean of New Jersey, as Chairman of the Governor's Advisory Commission on Gambling. 

In addition to his expertise in the gaming industry, he has also been recognized on numerous occasions for his dedicated civic involvement and community service.  Among the awards he has received are: "Man of the Year" in 1983 by the Atlantic Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America; Brotherhood Award in 1983 by the National Conference of Christians and Jews; and Business "Man of the Year" in 1988 by the greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce.

Steve has both undergraduate and MBA degrees from Wharton School-University of Pennsylvania and holds the professional designations of CPCU (Charter Property and Casualty Underwriter) and CLU (Charter Life Underwriter).
