Prior to his becoming executive director of GIC, Ben spent the past ten years of his career in the capital markets, working for American exchanges in corporate development and strategic planning roles. He served as the president of the NASDAQ OMX Futures Exchange (NFX), as well as vice president of strategy & US futures for NASDAQ OMX. During his tenure at NASDAQ OMX, he served as the first vice president of corporate development, for the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, where in addition to his corporate development responsibilities, he led government relations for the exchange. Ben has a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his Bachelor of Arts from Birmingham-Southern College.
